Our Training Approach

We design, implement, and evaluate custom-built courses for individuals and organisations in media and international development.

Our offer includes:

  • Design, implement and evaluate custom-built courses for non-media professionals (e.g., communication staff of development NGOs) focusing on the use of media to target and educate audiences about relevant development issues.
  • Selection and deployment of relevant experts.
  • Collaborating with local partners (media and non-media organisations) to design and run custom-built training in-country and in the region for media professionals and communications professionals without a communications background (e.g., staff of NGOs).
  • The management, organisation and provision of administrative support for travel, accommodation, meals and ensuring the welfare of international trainers attending training events.
  • Implementing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of training programmes, from baseline, post course evaluations.

To make the learning experience as impactful as possible, the training is characterised by:

  • Active learning with high ratio of activity, variety and participation.
  • Learning by doing.
  • Peer-to-peer learning.
  • Knowledge and skills, but also attitudes are considered.
